This Al Stohlman Brand English style skiving/paring knife has the traditional right pointed blade with a hardwood handle that rests comfortably and securely into the palm of your hand. The knife is used for general edge skiving.
Blade dimensions are approximately 5-3/8" (13.65 cm) in length by 1-1/4" (3.2 cm) in width. Handle is 3-5/8" (9.21 cm) long.

Al Shohlman Brand Damascus Knives:
"Damascus" refers to metal with a visible grain pattern. True Damascus patterns are formed when carbon trace elements create visible swirls in the steel mix.  These blades are made from SUS410 High Carbon Stainless Steel.  All edges are ground to a 16 degrees angle per side making them extremely sharp.
